Critical Success

If a player rolls doubles this is considered a Critical Success. No matter the sum of the dice the player will succeed. During the Combat Phase a critical hit is accomplished when rolling the highest value of the weapon dice. This will allow a player to roll their hit dice twice, dealing the sum of the damage. The character gains a resolve token on critical success. During the Combat Phase if the player rolls a Critical Success during an attack action the attack succeeds at the highest armor threshold.

Rolling with Omen

During the course of play the Referee may decide to allow you to roll with an Omen dice. Omens can either be Good Omens or Ill Omens. When you roll with Omen, roll a third d6. When rolling with Good Omen take the two highest d6s, if rolling with Bad Omen take the lowest two d6s. During Combat if rolling with Omen roll a second attack dice, take the highest/lowest.

Stress and Resolve

Stress and Resolve are a meta-currency that may be spent at any time. Each player may hold up to 10 Resolve at a time. Similarly the DM can hold 10 * The number of Players in Stress. Stress and Resolve are spent similarly, the Referee is given Stress to use against the players and the Players are given Resolve to use against the world. When a player character gets a critical hit they also gain a Resolve Token. When the DM's Creatures roll a critical hit the DM Will gain a Stress token which may be spent against the players.
